All these cities rank within the first 50 in India and it is a remarkable achievement by the people who work behind this to make it a reality. In urban development, Karnataka has started using more technology.
Anjum Parwez, Secretary to Urban Development Department has clear visions about the road map ahead. KUIDFC intends to implement a GIS based Dynamic Enterprise Asset Management for managing the physical infrastructure. A geographic information system (GIS) is a computer system for capturing, storing, checking, and displaying data related to positions on Earth’s surface ,for example Rain Water Harvesting facilities in individual buildings in a given area. They are also working on improving water drainage system and the housing for the poor.
