Taking place annually at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre, Intersolar India is India’s most Renewable-Energy oriented exhibition and conference for India’s solar centered industry with having a focus on the areas of photovoltaics, PV production, and solar thermal technologies. Starting in 2019, Intersolar India was held for the first time under the umbrella of The smarter E India from 27-29 November.
With three parallel energy exhibitions, The smarter E India is India’s innovation hub for the new energy world. It presents cross-sector energy solutions and technologies and reflects the interaction of the solar, energy storage and electric mobility industry. The smarter E India addresses all the key areas along the value chain and brings together local experts and international stakeholders in the energy future.

Bangalore is also called the “Silicon Valley of India” because of its role as the nation’s leading IT exporter. It is home to many educational, research institutions and accounts for a quarter of India‘s existing start-ups. Bangalore has also emerged as a new focal point for the Indian automotive and auto ancillary industry. The City is also known for its green spaces and the nightlife. With a perfect blend of the old and new, the visitors are spoilt for choices when it comes to travel options. The smarter E India kicked off with a comprehensive conference program featuring a variety of themes and educational opportunities covering energy storage, photovoltaic (PV), e-mobility and smart renewable technologies. During 15 high-level sessions and workshops, 150 prominent speakers are providing their crucial insights on all aspects of the Indian renewable energy market at the Intersolar India Conference. Various workshops and partner sessions are offered to pass on practical skills and to provide hands-on classes by experienced knowledge partners, like IEEE, Invest India, PV Cycle, ARE, EPR, EAI, teri, SCGJ, and AGNIi. New this year is the special Power2Drive conference track including sessions dedicated to the e-mobility sector.
However, the event was not up to the mark this time due to the downturn in the Renewable Energy industry. But, the organisers have admitted this and have promised that the event will turn out better in the next year.
