The United Nations has declared May 22 as The International Day for Biological Diversity to increase the understanding and the awareness of biodiversity issues we face.
Smart Sustain has a special guest on this day, Hari Dilip Kumar, who discussed the various aspects of biodiversity and the hazards of losing it, with Manjunath.
As a year of reflection and solutions, year 2020 can be counted as a starting point to heal and to build back better. This is a time to realize that despite all our technological advances we are completely dependent on healthy and active ecosystems for all our resources.
By using this time to strengthen the resilience, the globe can change the curve on biodiversity loss positively and for the benefit of humans and all other life forms on earth. We humans are bound to conserve biodiversity in all possible ways as it is vital for human health and wellbeing.
