Acquisition of 3 F Fuji Private Limited by IFFCO
IFFCO is a company that is based in the UAE which manufactures a wide range of food products not just in UAE but in different parts of the world. It is present in 40 countries and has a reach over 4 continents.
After its recent acquisition of Indian company 3F Fuji, IFFCO, the UAE based food manufacturer plans to turn it into major global manufacturing unit to serve customers across the market. With the acquisition it aims at consolidating its portfolio by analyzing and utilizing new opportunities to improve its foothold in the global market and serve the customers better. The company also has decided to rename the Indian firm as Pristine Ingredients Private Limited. The firm has other brands such as Tiffany, Igloo, London Dairy and Quanta which are known across the GCC market.
The move is made as a part of Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG’s) latest initiative to improve customer experience and satisfaction while coping up with the post-pandemic global marketplace.
3 F fuji foods India was a joint venture between the Japanese company Fuji oil groups and the Indian food firm 3 F industries which is specialized in creamy food products across the nation and IFFCO had earlier stated that the acquisition of this Indian company would help strengthen its foothold in the creamy foods category as it creates a good opportunity in one of the worlds largest markets. It will pave the way for a new culinary category in the nation. They also plan to bring along with them all the experience IFFCO has in the field of food production.
Arzu Alibaz who is the CEO of IFFCO said: “We have a diversified portfolio of products that cater to a wide variety of consumers and provide them with holistic solutions and enhanced service. Whatever we do, first we focus on (our) out-of-home operator needs.”
“We have a strong capability in developing tailored solutions to meet specific customer needs. Our vertical and horizontal manufacturing integration, agile organization, and our flexibility to serve our customers with custom based solutions help operators adapt to changing circumstances.”
When she was asked about the company’s future endeavours and acquisitions, Alibaz said: “Rather than product segments, I want to mention a bigger segment which is covering all current IFFCO product portfolio and serves all out-of-home channels as a one-stop shop.”
