The Karnataka State Pollution Control Board, in partnership with Rotary Bangalore Parisara, is on a mission to promote eco-friendly Turmeric Ganesha at homes during this Ganesha Festival.

The target is to create a World Record by making a Million Turmeric Ganesha and by uploading the pictures of them on the website www.turmericganesha.com  from 8th to 10th of September 2021, one can qualify to win certificates & exciting prizes.

To promote this good cause there was an event conducted by KSPCB and Rotary Bangalore Parisara. At this event, Kannada actress Samyukta Hornad created a turmeric Ganesha. She spoke to Manjunath Gangadhar of Smart Sustain about turmeric Ganesha and the advantages of such an initiative.

Tiny turmeric Ganesha has eco-friendly and medicinal values. When immersed at homes, it can help save water bodies.
