Empower Educators  for Engaged Classrooms

The integrated framework for economic, social and environmental development, known as the Sustainable Development Goals direct us to 169 targets and 232  indicators. These goals represent the global agreement across the United Nations’ member states for development and prioritisation.

While the SDGs have already influenced political decision-making, how likely are they to influence our younger generation?

Here is Ms Paramjeet Kaur Dhillon with her army of educators from all over the world, ready to make transformations through their eight-month-long project RiseUpforSDGs. Young students from various parts of the world are involved in this directly and indirectly to motivate the already enthusiastic crowd!

With a successful deliberation of two SDGs,the third Meet of RiseUp4SDGs will happen on 12th February, Friday at 6 pm IST.

Achieving each of the targets is very crucial and educating the world is a priority, the educators realise.

To evaluate human development related to SDGs has a lot of scope on research and educators and students will have a huge role in this. The analysis of nine human development-related indicators across eight targets for six goals points to multiple dimensions of human development, touching on education, health, infrastructure, and economic development.

The purpose is SDGs Advocacy: Only if we know what SDGs are .. we can work for them.
