The conception of electric vehicles dates back to the mid-19th century and was often disregarded due to the high cost, low top speed, and limited range of batteries compared to the internal combustion engine vehicles.
EV’s have been functioning in different forms such as loading and freight equipment and public transit – predominantly rail vehicles, albeit not used as private motor vehicles. But a lot has changed since then. Interest in EV’s and other alternatives in private motor vehicles has peaked since the beginning of the 21st century due to rising concern over the complications associated with hydrocarbon-fueled vehicles, including damage to the environment caused by their emissions.
EV’s are now plug-in and charge type of vehicles which are fun, practical, and efficient. They can reduce emissions and even cut down your travel expenses. Charging your vehicles over fueling them has an added advantage because electric motors react quickly and are very responsive. EV’s are frequently connected to the digital world as it’s very easy to control and handle them with an app on your smartphone. EV’s charging is as easy as your smartphones. It’s easy to find a power grid wherever you go and there are a variety of options for charging whether you’re at home, at work, or on the road. This means that you won’t have to go to gas stations to fill up your tanks anymore.
EV’s are a real game-changer for a country like India where we’re vulnerable to the fuel prices and maintaining costs. If EV’s are manufactured and released on a large scale, there’ll be a drastic improvement in the economy since it’s feasible and affordable. Looking at the country’s vehicle industry, the question of affordability will be solved. More than an economic impact it’ll definitely have an environmental impact. EVs can also reduce the emissions that contribute to climate change and smog, improving public health, and reducing ecological damage.
Even the most polluted city in the world can be benefitted from this.
