Designing outfits that has the elegance to wear it to social gatherings as well as practicality to wear it as daily wear are getting strong responses from the young crowd of Kerala. The concept of presenting a gift that is special and soulful has made the Handloom sarees rise up in demand and helped revive a community of people who are culturally and financially dependent on this traditional industry which has put them in an endangered situation because of the market flood of mass-produced cloths. The new designs of “Onakodi (New dress)” also brings out the elements of myths and stories from local folklore that once invoked fascination in olden days.

Clothes made of Hemp fabrics have caught the attention of the young crowd who are interested in slow fashion ideas.

It has many advantages when compared to the regular alternatives which closes the gap again for the potential customers who is looking for an change. Hemp fabrics have superiority in terms of durability, comfortability and the versatility to blend with other weaker fabrics to make them stronger all adds to be a great fabric and the fact that it takes less resources to be produced than cotton makes it an excellent option in every aspect. The clothes made out of Hemp fabric is Bio-degradable hence adding it a factor of sustainability.

Fashion is a way to say who we are without having to speak and let the choices we make this season bring happiness to someone’s life so that we can carry forward the Ethos of Lord Mahabali , who envisioned a land where everyone lived happily.
