The managing Director of Green Business Certification Institute Pvt Ltd, India (GBCI)and Senior Vice President, USGBC, Mili Majumdar is taking up the technical adaptation and customization of the portfolio of GBCI rating systems for the Asia Pacific region. Customer coordination strategies, training, and developing market components for adoption of the tools and rating systems for the region also comes under her responsibility. Having more than two decades of experience in the field of energy and environment with a focus on sustainable development of buildings, Mili has worked  in the sectors of green buildings, climate tough housing, city planning and urban transportation. Having led a team of professionals to develop a clear plan of green rating systems for constructions that have been widely accepted in India, Mili has enabled the development of green jobs and has routed a smart city planning process.
